Game Shot is run by Tim Haycocks. For privacy questions, contact tim.haycocks@gmail.com.
Your settings stay on your device
Game Shot uses browser local storage to remember the custom drill order, durations and scoring preferences you choose to save. This is not a cookie, but it is a similar device-storage technology. The app does not send these saved settings or entered match scores to Tim, Google or the hosting provider.
Settings stay until you replace them or clear this site’s browser data. They do not sync across devices or browsers. Completed match legs, their format, start time, winner and full visit records are saved in local storage for your History section until you clear site data. They are not sent to Tim or synced between devices. Active match state and practice results remain in page memory and are lost on reload or closing the app.
Accounts, adverts and analytics
The app has no user accounts, advertising trackers or app analytics added by Tim. It does not ask for your name, location or contact details to practise or score a match.
Google Fonts
To preserve its appearance, Game Shot loads the DM Sans and Manrope typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser sends Google your IP address and technical request information, such as browser information and the requested font resource, to fetch them. Google states that the Fonts API does not set or log cookies or use this information to create profiles or target advertising.
See Google Fonts’ privacy explanation and Google’s privacy policy. Google may process information outside the UK.
Website hosting
The public version is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you access a Cloudflare-hosted version, Cloudflare processes connection information such as your IP address and requests to deliver and secure the site. This does not send your locally stored drill settings or match scores to Cloudflare. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing, retention and international transfer information. A local preview is instead served by the computer running it.
If you contact Tim
If you email Tim, your email address and message are processed through his Gmail account to respond to you. This is based on the legitimate interest of answering enquiries and maintaining the app. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed for the enquiry and any related issues.
Your choices and rights
You can clear Game Shot’s saved settings using your browser’s site-data controls. Where applicable, you can ask Tim to access, correct or delete personal information he holds, or object to or request restriction of processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
This notice describes the current app. It will need updating if accounts, analytics, payments or other data features are introduced.
